hotemin.shop is the merchandise arm of the $HOTEMIN community on Avalanche — the meme we cook around the chain's founder, Emin Gün Sirer. We did not ask permission. We do not give refunds on confidence. We exist to dress the cooked.
Turkish-American computer scientist. Former Cornell CS professor. Founder of Avalanche and Ava Labs. Architect of the chain we cook on. The community memed him into a season — “Hot Emin Summer” — and the season memed itself into a wardrobe. That wardrobe is this store. We are not affiliated with Emin or Ava Labs; we are aligned with the chain and amused by ourselves.
Every piece in this drop was sketched, voted on, and refined inside the $HOTEMIN community group chat. No agency. No focus group. Just guys with sunglasses and strong opinions.
The red ▲ is not a logo we licensed. It is the chain we live on. Every garment carries it because we carry it. Pay in fiat or pay in AVAX — either way, the triangle goes home with you.
240gsm tees from a small mill in Portugal. Italian acetate for the shades. Gold-plate over solid brass for the chains. Cheap thrills make poor heirlooms — we are not in the cheap-thrill business.
